This workbook was born from her own self-discovery and hard work over two decades of her personal sobriety. Her diligence paid off in finding and keeping a soft, kind inner voice. She lives the 'best of both worlds' by living in the beautiful countryside of Iowa and working with 'The World'. Yes, she is a MidWest girl! Her home with a gorgeous view, is her safe place on this planet that is near many family and friends that enrich her life. Living each day with her passion filled life makes her count these blessings daily. Merna has survived many difficult times in her life just like many people. She tackled Alcoholism at a young age of 22 and has been clean & sober since 1986. At the age 32 she was in a coma after some serious health complications and beat death against all odds. A few years later she experienced the death of a significant other from Cancer. [All by the age of 36] She knew she would survive these times, but little did she know she would THRIVE again. This is her true mission to assist you! For years she has worn many hats as a personal coach, coach trainer, and mentor with a top coaching company. All since 2004 and has evolved into her own company and position of a Master Self-Discovery Coach™. Her job as a coach is to help people discover, define, and thrive within the life they desire. She facilitates supreme workshops with her workbook to help participants 'kick start' their path to personal empowerment. In addition, she received her BS in Psychology through Upper Iowa University, while heading to graduate school in the fall of 2010 with Capella University pursuing her Masters in Psychology. Helping others find peace and abundance in life is her true calling.
